Greetings again after one month with no message, my apologies! Since the Toblers left a month ago I had been catching up in school and getting into Thai lessons again. That has been stretching! After 2 hrs of only hearing Thai my brain feels exhausted! All my lessons (both books and speaking) is done in Thai and I have to really push for an explanation in English, though it’s challenging, I can see this will really help to bring results.
Two weeks ago we enjoyed another visitor, the Gingrichs were in Thailand for 2 weeks, for 4 days they were down south with Abe and Lea while I had midterms exams. Upon their return we went to Myanmar again for food distribution and some outreach. Lester shared a gospel message, Sarah shared her testimony and their family sang a couple songs together. After, we ate a meal in their bamboo huts and heard about their needs for a school building. While we were there Lorene stayed back with Leina for fellowship and time together.
Very exciting and refreshing to see saints from home. It was good for us (and them we hope) to show them life here, the temples, the monks, and our Friday night Bible study. We are so thankful to be serving Jesus here!
Oh, The pictures of the building is a play house that I’ve been working on with Seth. While here, Lester and his boys helped for a day as well.
