The year was 2005. There were rumblings coming to our ears that the Spirit of God is moving in Bolivia. This led to an exploratory mission trip, where four men from three different Canadian provinces went to see if there was any work there that we could be of assistance with. Over the years we have had a few different families living in Bolivia to assist in the building of God’s kingdom.
At present we fellowship with some saints living in Chihuahua & Tres Cruzes, Bolivia. Their heartbeat is to share the hope of Jesus Christ Jesus with the low German speaking people. God is moving among these people and restoring to many the faith of their forefathers, and people are finding hope and peace in Christ once again. It is an absolute joy to see people delivered from sin and walking with a clear conscience before God and man.
Another great undertaking has been the translation of a low German Bible into the Plattdiesch dialect. The first draft of the New Testament is available as a PDF and a limited supply(100) have been printed. This is be a translation comparable to the English KJV. Two years into this project, the Old Testament is underway, but it’s a formidable task, please pray for the team of four men that are doing the work, that they would have clear minds, the wisdom and knowledge to translate God’s word for these dear people, whom God loves with an everlasting love!
